When your workload becomes unmanageable, speak up and document it! Workload forms are an important tool for members to raise concerns when there isn’t enough time, staff, or resources to safely and effectively complete your work.


If you experience an unmanageable workload, complete a Workload Form and email it to your manager and workloads@cupe815.org. The forms are attached below for easy access.


Remember, you don’t have to wait for a crisis to document a workload concern. If you are regularly unable to complete your duties within your shift or feel your workload is becoming unreasonable, filling out a workload form helps create a record of the issue and allows the Union to follow up.


If a workload issue becomes unsafe or creates a health and safety concern, members can also complete an IRS report. Documenting unsafe situations is an important way to ensure concerns are reported and addressed.

About CUPE 815

CUPE 815 represents more than 1500 healthcare support workers from Halton Healthcare Milton and Oakville sites.

These workers include RPNs, Unit Clerks, Trades People, Food Services, MDR, Stores, and Housekeeping.

​

CUPE advocates for workers who deliver the public services people depend on. Our members work in hospitals, schools, municipalities, and many other public spaces.

​

We help our members provide the highest level of service by ensuring they are safe and healthy at work, and that they get fair pay and benefits for the services they provide.

​

We also advocate for better public services, like improvements to public health care and to the Canada Pension Plan, that would improve our communities and the lives all Canadians.

​

We acknowledge that Halton Region is on the traditional territory of Indigenous peoples, including the Mississaugas of the Credit, and we are grateful to share this land today.
