ree

Notice to Members

ree

The new wage rates recently bargained between the OHA and OCHU, will take effect on January 5th and will be reflected in your January 22nd pay. New wage grids can be found attached below.

Retroactive pay will be issued on March 5th. Wages will be retroactive to September 29 2025.

We are still working through the benefits integration as we merge our contract with the central agreement. We’ll provide more details after our upcoming meetings with the hospital.

In the meantime, please keep all receipts for any items that may be covered under your benefits as we finalize the details.

In Solidarity,

Local 815 Bargaining Committee

About CUPE 815

CUPE 815 represents more than 1500 healthcare support workers from Halton Healthcare Milton and Oakville sites.

These workers include RPNs, Unit Clerks, Trades People, Food Services, MDR, Stores, and Housekeeping.

CUPE advocates for workers who deliver the public services people depend on. Our members work in hospitals, schools, municipalities, and many other public spaces.

We help our members provide the highest level of service by ensuring they are safe and healthy at work, and that they get fair pay and benefits for the services they provide.

We also advocate for better public services, like improvements to public health care and to the Canada Pension Plan, that would improve our communities and the lives all Canadians.

We acknowledge that Halton Region is on the traditional territory of Indigenous peoples, including the Mississaugas of the Credit, and we are grateful to share this land today.
